my house flooded from a toilrt upstairs i did not have insurance on the house but my landlord has insurance i want to know can she be mdae to pay for my furniture

Hi Ava,

Its generally depend upon policy terms and condition whether tenant covers under it or not. Most home owner policy doesn’t except tenant.

It would depend on the agreement you have with your landlord but it is essential that you check it again with your landlord. If they are bound to paying for furniture damage you are lucky. But if not its either you check with legal aid or file a complaint at RPA http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/complaint_center.php
