Half way through lease and landlord is going into short sale

By anonymous

I am half way through a year lease and a week ago my landlord notified me via phone that he is going to short sale the house we are living in. The last week has been miserable because we are all on different schedules and he won’t let us break the lease. What rights do we have to get out of the lease? He is offering us $25 off but the stress that comes with it is not worth the discount to have unknown people walk through the house. The house is in Florida. Do I have to let the realtor, appraisers, and other people in?
