Is a sewer fee charge considered a fair tenant fee

By Eileen Pfaff

Hi,

I pay for all utilities and included is also the city sewer fee.  Is this considered a utility and if not is it a bill I should be paying?

Hi Eileen. Fees for sewer is free in some cities. That depends on what city you are located, what you can do is you can visit ask someone in the neighborhood if they are also paying for it. If they say yes, then you are really the one responsible for the sewer fee.
