IS CARPET ALLOWED TO BE COMING UP OR TARING AT SEAM

   tHE SEAM OF MY CARPET IS TEARING ITS FILTHY THE GUY WHO CAME TO CLEAN IT SAID THAT IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND THEY CAN NOT CLEAN IT ANY MORE. i ONLY MOVED IN ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO. i TOOK OVER RENTAL WHEN MY BROTHER MOVED OUT LAND LORD APPROVED. i SIGNED A MONTH TO MONTH RENTAL AGREEMENT. wHEN i MOVED IN THE PLACE WAS STILL FULL OF MY BROTHERS STUFF THE PLACE WAS NEVER RENT READY AND IT TOOK ME AND MY HBOYFRIEND 8 HOURS TO CLEAN A 3RD OF THE KITCHEN AREA THE GREASE WAS THICK AND WINDOWS WERE DIRTY ASWELL. nOW i WAS IN A RUSH TO MOVE IN BUT THAT WAS BAD.  aLSO MY KITHEN COUNTER IS FALLING OFF WALL OR AWAY FROM WALL NEXT TO MY SINK TILE IN BATHROOM IS LIFTING IN BATHROOM TOO. i DONT LIKE TO BOTHER THE LANDLORD SINCE THE RENT IS CHEAP FOR WHAT I HAVE. WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE AND WHAT IS NOT? HOW OFTEN DOES CARPET HAVE TO BE REPLACED?
