Landlord has unreasonable yard expectations

By Jarrod bray

My landlord is a self proclaimed master gardener. To be fair, the front and back yards are beautifully landscaped. However, she is constantly harassing me about the upkeep of the yards. I mow the grass every week, and water daily. I also weed, rake, sweep etc. this is all what I would consider normal maintainace and upkeep. However, she chews me outabout once a week about some plants not getting enough water, or the edging not being low enough, etc.

She is now threatening to charge me for a yard service if it is not kept to her impossibly high and mysterious standards. I feel that this is harrasment and none of this is described in the lease. The lease states that I am responsible to mow and maintain the grass, and the landlords will help ,aintain the gardens.
How do I approach this with her, and get her to back off? I just want to live in peace without the constant harrasment from my landlord.
Thanks,
