mice attack

I have mice in my apt they jump in my stove and live under my couch or in it my landlord won’t let me get a cat im afraid and my landlord says they cant exterminate I am working with a lowbudget the infestation is so bad they are even found in the breezeway . my landlord wont help, I dont know who to contact, please help someone… anyone  I have three kids under seven and I see mice droppings in there bed when we return home at the end of the day. do I have rights in this situatuion or is it a catch twenty two

It is the responsibility of your landlord to exterminate pests. Pest control should be done. If you hire an exterminator, you can ask for a refund. If the landlord won’t comply with his responsibility, you can file a complaint here in RPA.

Your landlord has got to get in an exterminator! I had a similar problem a few months back, and we had a professional extermination company – and we haven’t seen a mouse since…
