Mobile home laws

By Lisa Bobo

I’m not sure where to post this. I need information regarding a mobile home community that we live in. We own the mobile home we live in, but we lease the lot that’s placed on. We have a landlord that has been placing rule reminders/volations on tenants doors. I understand that it’s our reponsibility to repair or maintenance our mobile homes. I have been doing my part as a tenant, to keep up the repairs on my house. My landlord placed a rule reminder regarding my house needed to be power washed before december 23rd. That’s two days before christmas. We didn’t get it done because of holiday coming and  bad weather. It had snowed and made it hard to get to power washing. That first rule reminder expired on the 23rd. He wrote me up again saying that I violated the rules. I have been trying to get to the power wash but we live in Ohio and our weather has been really funky lately. It snowed again, then it thunderstormed. Just yesterday it iced up really bad. Now it’s supposed to be 50 degrees on friday so i called the office to rent the power wash machine from the community. I’m going to get it done. Yesterday the landlord comes on our our street in the park does his inspection and he basically wrote up the entire street. He wrote me up again, as well. This time I receive a rule reminder for my skirting that needs to be repair. Going to do it today, but he only gave me a two day notice? I need to know is this legal? Can he actually give you two days to repair a problem legally?
