New off-campus lease but now pregnant
By Alltrouble_70
My daughter moved into an off-campus apt complex that has 4 tenants w/ 4 separate leases near Western Ky University. The lease states that only 1 person is allowed to reside in each bedroom & is for 18 months. She signed the lease on 1/3/11. She found out that she is pregnant on 1/7/11. Is there a legal way to get out of the lease? She planned on being the only occupant but someone decided to hitch a ride without her knowing. Please tell me she has options because I’m the guarantor on her lease.
