Problem with roommate

By anonymous

I’ve been having problems with a roommmate, my long time boyfriend comes over frequently and he does stay overnight, but with the agreement that he is not to leave my room. I am very respectful of my roommates, but one roommate for personal reasons doesn’t like me so she went to the leasing office and claimed that my boyfriend was living here a which is not true. So I recieved a letter stating that periodic checks were going to be done on my room becasue it was a violation for him to be lving here, and it also states that I’m contributing to electrical overages and theres also a general statement about respecting my roommates  by keeping overnight stays to a minimum. I feel like I have been disrepespected and moral limitations are being impended on me legally and otherwise what can I do?
