Hi we lived three years in this condo which has rat trying to get out from comote. The canadian people that leave here before said that the rat came out the comote in the house. the owners paid for mouse extreminator to solve it because they did/nt want to pay for rat extremanator so the issue stil exists. They never told us about it we heard noices at night like something was trying to come out of the comote and we always kept the lid close. the problem exists and thats terrible what they are doing to people in order to rent it and get thew money they dont care if there is a child in the house if people have allergies they just dont care!

And also 3 weeks ago it rain the roof got damage and the water came in to my bedroom from a hole in the celeing.

We contact the owners and they said the roofers were going to fix the roof first and then the inside the homeowners insurance .

Well nothing is been fix for three weeks now my house smells mold and the roofers came today and said they cant repair anything because nobody wants to to pay them.

But natural from your problem I see that rats are coming and going out from your home maybe through roof or comote or anything else, so it the problem of bad smell… Because Rats lives in stain and garbage conditions.

I think that if the owner of house has home insurance he can easily renovate or fix the leakage and other ceiling stuff like that.. If your owner of the house is not paying any money to the roofers, but takes rent on time from you, you can file a complaint. Also take precautions if roof is damaged and having a leaked, any sort of accident or casualties can happen, even children’s who are more prone to catch diseases will be at risk from bad smell and rat problems, or mold too. convey this to your home owner. Even then if he is not replying or shows any sort of indication that he will not solve your problem. Go ahead with filing a complaint. I see in this agency website that we can have option of reporting a landlord or even we can rate him due to his bad behaviour http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/apartment-rating.php which greatly in concern of you. Go ahead and report him through this medium, it would be useful for you.

Finally ask your home landlord if he has similar problem in his house how would that be… I am sure it would be some strange reply!

Revert back if you need any help.
