STRANGE NOISE

there is strange and almost unbearable strange screeching nosie comming from the apartment above me. i have concrete floors, so my only guess is a piece of metalic furniture? eaither way, it is a horriable noise. i have complained more times then i can count and however my landlord is nonchalante. what can i do.?
