Unlawful Detainer ?

By john

Accused of being an unlawful detainer? Know your rights and get the justice you deserve.

I am just a construction worker who doesn’t earn much but I am able to pay my bills on time. When I get an extra income I go out and do fishing, camping and hunting. I really enjoy a lot of activities but I always live within my means. I live in a low rent area. What else could you expect? As long as I am able to eat meals, have decent clothes and enjoy life while I still can. I guess I’m being a little of a story teller here but let me go back to my point. I have rented a place for more than 3 years. I like it there since it’s just 5-minute walk from my workplace. Aside from saving a couple of pennies, I can have a short daily exercise. One day, a niece of my landlord visited him and I really noticed her. She was so beautiful. She has long hair, slim body and has a sweet smile. When he was about to go, I went near her and introduced myself. From then on, I started courting her but after months of doing so, my landlord found out and was so mad. He called me names and insulted me of being unfit of her niece because for a fact that I am a High School dropout. But I guess I really had a great connection with her niece and we kept going out. Few weeks passed and my landlord went to my house and said that he will file for an unlawful detainer act. I really didn’t know much about it but her niece helped me with the problem.

I filed a complaint with Rental Protection Agency about my landlord because the unlawful detainer action accused of me was really unreasonable. I know he only did it because he didn’t want me for his niece. I could have filed a case as a means for fighting unlawful detainer but it just really made things easy for me. I just spent a few pennies and my problem was solved.

Don’t allow others to step on your right, learn to stand up and fight for it. It doesn’t have to be a case immediately but filing a complaint first could probably settle everything. I was really tough in filing the complaint because I haven’t breached any contract and his niece was on my side too. I also don’t have to spend too much and wait for weeks or months for my case to be solved.
