9 month renter

By Mike

I signed a 1 year liesse with my land lords. When my parents sold thier home and had no were to go while thier new home is being built. I asked the landlord if they could place ther motor home on the land here seeing that I have 2 acers and on a dead end road. She said no problem might have to ask for a 100 dollars more later. Now she has gotten married and her new husband wants to be the man in charge I guess. Got a letter from him stating that I can’t store stuff here and the my  parents have 4 cars and a motorhome and he wants $50 a car and $150 for the motor home to be here. Thats a increse of $350 a month. I already pay $1200. He said he was sending a tow truck if he didn’t have it by the 1st. I believe he is out of his mind. As for the stored things here they are mine. Can he come in and make orders like that and do we have to apply to them.

I would refer to your lease agreement. Regardless of who is making the changes, it can’t be contrary to the agreement you made with the original landlord. What is written is the most important, verbal agreements don’t mean much.
