Air Conditioning not working

Have been calling my landlord for over a month….he called a technican who said it was a bad leak over 800 to fix…still not fixed heat in the 100’s

Hi Melissa, you actually have rights for minor repairs. So it’s the responsibility of your landlord to get the air conditioning fixed. If you have talked to him about these, I suggest for you to write a request letter and articulate what the problem really was. And if he tried to fix but was not successfully fixed, let him know about it so he could look for another technician. Your landlord needs to make sure that he keeps their maintenance better. If the letter is not acknowledge then report it to your local building or housing agency so they may be able to take some action against your landlord. Good luck on that! :)
