Problem concerning auction house

By Crystal

I recieved a notice that the house will be auctioned off on Feb 16, 2011. The landlord says the house is still in short sale, if this auction does take place how long do we have to move out of the house? Once auctioned off will they change the locks on us leaving us with out our belongings?Do you have any solution on this problem regarding auction house?

It is possible that when the house is auctioned and sold, you maybe given a period of time to get things out of the house. There are no laws specific to auctions but it would depend on which state. As for decisions like this, you can consult a legal aid or contact RPA complaint center for more information which is at this link: http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/complaint_center.php
