Can I deduct cost of hotel room from rent?

              Over the course of January I have been unable to shower for an entire week due to frozen pipes, bursting pipes, a frozen shower drain, and broken water heater. Can I deduct the cost of a hotel room from next months rent so that me and my children could take a shower and a bath?
