can my land lord do this

Moved in a duplex 11 months ago. first 4 months no problems . Then people next door moved out ,we noticed bed bugs after a week and the new people did too. land lord treated us both ours never went away . we have been treated 5 times and now land lord will not do anything more. we were told we have to pay for more treatment .any advice

Do you own a copy of your lease? If you have review it first, more often than not landlords owns the right to have their tenants look after treating those pests. Also you can ask for more help with RPA. Of course a simple talk with your landlord is always a good way to start with it.
