Charged for cleaning after we cleaned the place

By vanessa

I moved out of my 2 bedroom apartment last month.  I spent several hours cleaning and my landlord still charged me close to $300 to have a porfessional company clean.  She told me whenthey were shceduled to come and I went by the place a few housr before they arrived and she was ding construction inside the house. The construction caused drywall debris and dirt from the workers shoes to be all over the floors.  SHe sent me 6 pictures to show what she had cleaned but the pictures are vague and only show 1 light switch, garage floor, a door jam and some tile infront of the fridge that looks as if there is white debris/dust infront of it (I think it is the drywall mess from the repairs).  Can I request she send me more pictures?  Can she legally charge me for this?
