cooking stove missing

By henk2845

I am renting this house and it is missing a cooking stove (range). Landlord told me I need to get one myself.  Is that legal?  What if I cannot pay my rent at any given time and have to move out.  Don’t all apartments (houses) come with cooking stoves?  What will I do with the one I am forced to buy for this house, and my new place comes suplied with a stove?

Appreciate your legal advice.
Thanks
