do i gotta pay

ok so i moved in during august 2010 had 2 roomates on the lease they moved out august 2011 2 new roomates came in told my land lord to change the lease they never did instead they tell me they jus renewd my old one with the fist 2 roomates names so we been witholding rent for 3months now until they change the lease  not to mentions alot of repairs that needed to be done now there telling me that there not going to give me the new lease until we give tehm the back pay but this landlord and theier entire company are fishy people i wanna know if i can just leave at the end of the lease agreement without paying since there is no lease ?

Well… you can’t really leave without hassles. For one, they will keep your security deposit and if there is still a balance to charge you for, they can pursue you in court.
