drug dealers next door/landlady doesnt care.

Paid rent on time fore 1.5 yrs. land lady mooved drug dealers in next door. i refused to pay until they wer gone. Its been 6 months of people dealing drugs in my front yard. Now land lady wants to evict me fore non payment. what to do.

Under no circumstances should you withhold your rent. That is your responsibility as a tenant. If you are sure that they are drug dealers, why didn’t you call the police on them? The landlady would have been scared to evict them – she’s a lady and they’re drug dealers! (according to you). So yeah, your landlady can evict you. Judging on where you live, do you have a not-so-good credit score? If you get evicted, that will pull your credit score down a few notches.
