Ethical Safety issues

By catberg

We are renting in an area with known property crime. Our truck has been broken into twice. The first time the vehicle was stolen and recovered and the second time a window was broken and radio/cd player stolen. We are parked off street in a driveway, however, there is no security light, nor gate to deter vandals. My question is, how responsible is our landlord for providing a secure area on the property for parking?

A landlord should provide all the stuff that is needed in regulation to the standards. First up is that you should take this issue to the local authorities. Next talk to your landlord about having your parking spaces safe.
