Landlord Divorce

By peppermonkey

My landlords are divorcing.  His name is on the deed, hers is not.  Both of them are on my rental agreement.  I had been making my rent check out to both of them.  He told me in writing to now make them out to him and send them to him only.  She says he can’t do this as they are in the middle of a divorce in a community property state.  She wants a copy of the letter.

Do I do as he says?

Do I give her a copy of the letter?
