Landlord harrassment at work

By Ashley Morris

My landlord sent an email to my HR Manager informing them I bounced a check and he was going to get the police involved.  I moved out and it was agreed my deposit would be used towards my last month.  Because my landlord is in another state they have several post dated checks.  He deposited my last month check which bounced.  I aplogized and suggested there was a miscommunication and or understanding and that they take my deposit towards my last month.   They have threatened me and I have an email trail which consists of me asking them not to contact my employer and to stop threatening me.  How can I proceed
