landlord ignores 30 day move out notice

By jeff

It seems to me that my landlord/property manager is ignoring my 30day move out notice. I have emailed the required form to the property manager and sent to the email that the form goes. It has been a month already. I have moved out. I still have 6days till the end of the month. My lease expired over 8 months ago. They have not contacted me to renew or what not so i figured it automatically goes to month to month. I have emailed them again and even called and left a message and they still have not contacted me. I am pretty busy at work and cant make it to there office before it closes. I feel like i am going to get screwed and would have to pay another months rent for the lack on there part of not accepting or ignoring my request. What should i do? Am i still responsible to pay for another months rent even though i sent them the move out notice? At this point i have feeling that im going to get screwed somehow. Any help would be greatful.
