mold problems kid sick

By msutag

Do I have grounds for breaking my 12 month lease early? I moved into an apartment on oct. 1 and ever since my daughter and I have been ill with mulitipule ear infections. She is now being referred to an EMT. I told the property manager that I sucpected mold in my bathroom grout. She look at it and said no. 2 weeks later I found questionable mod growth under bathroom sick due to excess of water drainage and mold under the kitchen cabniets. It is now eatting away at the wood. How much mold is too much and can I prove that they knew about the mold prior to moving into the apartment? Under the sink it appear that it was recently painted over and in the kitchen the installed new cabnietry. So I am unclear on how they could have missed any of the mold. Also the grout appear to have caulk on it when I moved in. So that leads me to think that they knew of this matter also. What can I do?
