My daughter was in an appartment with 3 other girls. They have a signed lease that is good until Aug 31. My daughter has moved out because she relocated for a job. One of the roommates tld her when she moved that she would sue her if she subletted her room. My daughter agreed not to and has been paying her portion of the rent since she left in Feb. She is now being told from the other 2 roommates that they have a friend they want to move in and let sublett. My Daughter is fine with this and has had a contract drawn up for the new subletter with an attachment that all 3 roommates are ok with her mving in. The one roommate says she won’t sign it. My daughter is worried because of previous threats that if she does not sign it, it could be trouble for her in the future. My daughter said told them if all 3 don’t sign she will not sublett the room. They say they are moving her in anyway and she doesn’t have the right to stop them. What are my daughters rights in this case?
