need help in Wyoming

By Frustrated Renter

My landlord is an attorney but I think they still broke their end of the lease

Right after move in I emailed the landlord that the baseboard heater didnt work in one of the bedrooms. We discusses it further on the phone and I told them of more non working baseboard heaters. I also told them the windows leaked water and were blown. The had a window contractor come look but decided it was too expensive. Bottom line with broken heaters and bad windows my power bills are $300-500 per month. I cannot heat the house past 66° at those rates. My lease was 9 months but auto renewed for a year. I cannot afford to heat the house and I am tired of freezing. The landlord refuses to let me out of my lease. Am I still bound if she was made aware in writing and called someone out but chose not to fix the problems? Also they put laminate flooring on the steps that is slick and has a crazy lip on them. I told her we keep falling and yet she does nothing. Do I have any rights since only one issues is in writing?
