Rental security deposit

I gave my daughter a rental security deposit on an apartment but she never moved in now the landlords are refusing to give back the deposit can they keep my deposit.

Hey there Cherri! You can demand for the deposit to be given back to you since your daughter never moved in. If the landlord does not respond to your demand, you can always ask for help through legal aid or through RPA since they have complaint center.
