RENTER

By Scarlet

Our AC went out and it is almost 90 degrees in our house. We complained to our landlord and barley any progress  was made. We been without our AC for serveral hours and had two different repair men come out. The first one who came out barely did anything and just looked at the filter and said that was the problem. Our AC was only working for about an hour or so after he left and it wnet out again. We had to complain to the secondary landlord again and he was such a dick. He was fighting with my step dad. After that he sent a second AC guy and he had a more therough look at it and said our AC engine went out. We don’t know when our AC unit will be up and running and all the landlord gave us was $50 for a motel, the problem is that is not enough for five of us. We will have to pay the other half out of pocket to get a decent room with AC. Should we complain and ask for more money or should we just keep the money and stay in this house with no AC? Is what he did legal.
