Unfair Credit Rental Practices after Economic downturn

By John Alicea

I do not know were to start, But here we go. I have lived in a home for more then 15 years and in business for over 13. I have lived fairly well for that time until in 2008 the economy dipped and I was struggling for a good five years. Now that I am recovering in which at this time I lost my home, My credit, and doing my best to catch up with my back taxes. I am just dumbfounded with the requirements of the rental community.

"HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO NOT BE ABLE TO RENT TO A FAMILY OR ANY GOOD COMMON WORKING CLASS TAX PAYING CITIZEN IF THERE CREDIT IS NOT IN GOOD STANDING !?!
Credit Score is not a way to gauge ones personal habits nor justify one to be of criminal nature ! The economy dip was caused by corporate greed and a large amount of small business owners and working class citizens have lost there stable footing in which credit score ratings have floored for many not only here in the states but across the world. Are we to suffer what we had no control over. Do we now have to be wrongfully judged and pushed to the streets because of unfair credit score practices and corporate greed ???
Lets look at the increasing number of credit card fraud cases we are faced with in which increases our chances to lose our
great credit scores. How can we really allow the credit report scores govern rental community agreements of any form?
I feel if we are faced with such issues please govern accordingly by requesting first and last month with security in cases of credit issues and not be given a chance to rent and be left to the streets.
