Water Sewer Bill problem

By Denys

I am an 84 year old single male living in a one bedroom apartment and my water sewer bill is $36.00 per month.

My daughter owns a commerical building in the same town with 80-100 people per day using 3 toilets and 2 showers and her monthly bill is LESS.

I have brought this to the attention of the Landlord but he just brushes me off, saying the bill is divided among all the tenants – this is a huge mill building with 100s of tenants.

Any suggestions?

There’s a lot of things to consider in terms of how the landlord declares such amount to be payed each month. A face to face conversation with your landlord should help you. Bring a copy of you lease and if you can ask the landlord how are you being billed and he can provide that to you that would be great. As a last resort though you can file a complaint through RPA if things doesn’t work out.
