renter rights – eviction
By aude medina
I live in a illegal basement apt, that has three bedrooms our lanlord was using one of those bedrooms for storage. Now she is trying to move a tenant into that room can she do that?
Also if she dicides to evict us how much time do we legally have to vacate premises?
We live in Central Islip, Suffolk County New York How long does the entire process take from begining to end?
Do we become squatters at that point? We have been tenants at her property for 2.5 years
