Fire Safety
By slipshod
I am currently living in an apartment home and have a few questions about fire safety. Are all apartment complexes required to have fire extinguishers? I live on the second floor and there is only one exit that leads to the ground floor, other than leaping from the front balcony into the parking lot or from my bedroom window at the rear of the building which is even higher up than the balcony. Isn’t there supposed to be a secondary exit to maintain fire safety? Also, isn’t there supposed to be posted fire evacuation plans for the building? What can/should I do to remedy these issues?
