Our lease is up in 7days. Our landlord was notified that we will not renew our Lease. We told her that we will pay through the middle of the month and she stated that she wanted a full months rent. Does she have the right to charge a full months rent?

I have a 12 month lease agreement. The Landlord is now short selling the home. Is this a breach of our lease agreement? If so can I just live out the last month ? What can I do to protect myself? What are my tenant legal rights ?

Hello, My question is as follows.   In New York State, do noise rules set by a building management (of a rental building in NYC) supercede city noise statutes if the building’s rules are more restrictive than the city’s?   Thank you, Karen
