Bed Bugs Possibly????

By Robert Miller

I currently live in a 3 bedroom apartment that we have resided in for now going on 8 months and have recently discovered what we believe to be bed bugs now they have only been found in 1 bedroom and I have only found 5-6 of them and killed them by hand But have yet to find any real signs that should be showing if you have bed bugs like eggs feces etc etc. Anywho my question being is the landlord responsible or are we? Ive tried getting this answer on my own but to no avail have not run into anything solid. We are apart of a complex building that consists of 10 apartments side by side.

Hi Robert! Normally when it comes to paying for bed bug treatment the landlord is the one responsible for it unless proven otherwise that the one who brought the bed bugs in is the tenant. You may have to hire a professional to determine how long the bugs are present in your rental unit. Also you have to review your lease agreement about bug infestations.
