Can’t fix my water heater

By Dan

My landlord has neglected to fix my water heater, and I am taking cold showers everymorning.

I’ve asked them to fix it at least twice, (and have the call recordings from my work phone).

Any advice on if I can break my lease, or force them to fix it?

Thank you!

Hi Dan. It is your landlord’s responsibility to do repairs on the rental unit. Filing a complaint would be the best option you can do right now. You have two options on how you can file your complaint; you can either file it through your local county or through a private mediation company like the RPA.
