Charge for carpet without showing me the bill
By AC3
My apartments are charging me for replacing the carpets after I moved out. I intend to pay for it but they are refusing to give me a copy of the actual bill from the carpet company. They will only show me the estimate. The estimate has prices crossed out and handwritten other charges in there from the apartment company. It’s not legit at all. Do I have any rights here? I want to make sure they are not trying to rip me off.
