landlord entered my apartment and almost emptyed it.

I was renting an apartment i left for several days to help my fiances dad hes not well.. when i returned to my apartment everything was gone my food clothing receipts things i bought for the apartment.. he entered my apartment without notifieing me .. theres mold on bathroom floor he never took care of leaking shower toilet was loose and wobbly floors had holes coverd with tile? my door wouldnt lock properly my bedroom door was not usable. back door was not useable. there were no smoke or carbon monoxide detecters ..so he basically eveicted me without notice and will not return the 6 months i paid him in full for rent. i witnessed him removing things from my apartment including many play station games and a play station console..he removed the door to gain access.. ive tried working it out he tells me your screwed prove it .. what are my legal rights im only 19  and this was my first place.. i still have the receipt there was no security deposit or contract. I Have a 1200 dollar shower still there and almost 2000 dollars in rugs which he thinks he can keep.. what are my rites and what can i do about them. or who can i turn to. and this land lord is running for town board so he says he has more power then me..i say thats abusing his job.. any help greatly appreciated.. thank you andrew.
