landlord is playing favotites

my residental landlord is complaining my apartment is very bad. they do inspections every once a month and i have had my floors cleaned off i keep it tidy and vacumed and moped. the only thing i can see is that my toilet needs to be cleaned with a pummus stone and my carpet needs to be shampooed but what im i suppose to do about that when my money is gone and i have a week until re-inspection so what do i do?
