Manager will not renew Lease until late fees.

By

I lost my job in 10/01/09,was receiving unemployment never late, Unemployment ended in June, untill I can get an extension as well as my Lease  June 1st 2010. Manager excepted the fact I was going to local agencies to get help, but as most agencies require you to have a valid lease. She refused too resign me,untill the agencies paid her $1700.00 in late fees plus the rent or myself since I just got hired at a local company in November. I have been looking for some were else to live but every were I look the rent for a 2Bdrm is way too much, with no amenities.should I pay the managment Co. and can she sue me for the late charges or should I just call or write the owner, since I have no lease.

It would be best if you can talk to the owner/landlord. Letters mostly will have to go through some time portals :).

Yeah snail mails are carried by snails so it won’t arrive until next year :). Haha. Yes, he can sue you if you don’t pay. But to better work on your situation, get some legal advice.
