Noise problem

What are the landlord’s obligations in regards to noise problem from a neighbor’s apartment when the neighbor is out of town?  I.E.  smoke alarm low battery warning beeping for 4 days now, 24 hours a day……Loud enough in my apartment to be heard over the tv, making it difficult to sleep, and giving me a headache.  Management contacted yesterday and was supposed to be getting it fixed, not fixed.  Tried calling today, got answering service who contacted maintenance.  Maintenance won’t come out on weekend unless it’s an emergency…..What are my rights in this situation?
