Problem W/Landlord-can she do this?

Hello-My name is Debra Paul-I been living at the said adress of :Debra Ann Paul, 8525 Lone Butte Rd. Unit1, Mojave, California I am 55 yrs. of age been living at this address the past oh about 17+ yrs.was I have been in a convalescent hospital 9first was admitted into the Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California on December 17th, 2012 for 1-1/2 weeks then to Santa Clarita Convalescent Hospital where I still am today receiving aftercare re two bad staff infections due to Chronic Edema & Cellulitus in both my lower legs among other disibilitys I been collecting Disibility since about 1995 due to lots of pain in my lower back, legs, knees & extemely High Blood Pressure, among other issues…I have continued to pay my rent each month even though I been in the hospital & it was then the Landlord had me served with an Eviction Notice for me to move out by Aril 10th, 2013 —lets see I received it about 2-1/2-3 weeks ago approximately (I need to have it here in front of me so I can read it as i forget the exact date I was served) my a neighbor/friend who lives nextdoor to me on the premises… I would like to know can she put me out when I been paying my rent each & every month & when I’m in the hospital under doctors care especially being disabled as well? I look forward to your reply & PLEASE give me whatever advice possible & or other contacts of HELP? I so appreciate your time & help…Sincerely, Ms. Debra Ann Paul P.S. Hi Debra! I Just read your post and I really feel for you. You can ask your landlord as to why he sent you the eviction notice even if you’ve been paying your rent on time. Chances are, your landlord may be discriminating you because of your disability. If that happens, you may file a complaint against your landlord with the RPA. Eviction due to discrimination is illegal, regardless of your state.
