Problems with termites and grass not treated

My apartment and dog are infected with termites and i am going to have to invest 400$ in treating my home and pet and my per can die if he has any disease and i paid a 300$ pet deposit when i moved in and just found out they do not treat the grass at the apartment complex.

Hey Vanessa! You can try asking your landlord regarding pest control or termite issues. If this it is stated in the contract that you are covered, you may be able to get back money as long as you have the receipts. However, in most cases landlords or managers may not include this kind of problem to their lease contract. As for the grass treatment this should be their responsibility. In any case though, you should try asking your landlord. If you dont receive positive response, you can file a complaint at this link http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/complaint_center.php from RPA.
