Should I file a complaint – Spray paint on roof

By Jas

Hi, recently my apartment roof got a lot of water dripping down due to rain and management fixed it in few days (that was fine). But yesterday the maintainance person basically spray painted (white) the roof. This caused some fumes in house and all my appliances and furniture have some whitish spots (thin, but everywhere in house). In addition, me and my wife are now suffering from throat infection and coughing since last night.

Do you think we have a case here and how to proceed. The issue is my lease is ending this month and I might even leave the country, so would it even be worth it if it takes too long?
