Taking Ex Landlord to Small Claims court

By Cece

Hi, I am in the process of serving my exlandlord for the second and last time. I had them served yesterday. Its the second time because It wasnt submitted before, I didnt know i needed to send in the top sheep notarized, so consequently there was no court day the day of court. Anyway, I did as instructed and filed again, now i have recieved a court paper from their lawyer "Demand For Removal To Civil" general court? I dont understand what exactly that means. I know i have given up my right with the small claims, but what do they stand to gain by doing this? Recieving that letter, does it mean that it has already been removed? Will i recieve my day in court against them? This is so confusing. They are dirty and kept trying to pay me off but it was no where near enough. I am seaking a legal aid cause i dont have money for a lawyer, but can someone shed some light on this for me. Let me know if you need further clarification. Thanks

Hello, I can help you in the Small claimsLegal Services of law by drafting these complicated documents for you for fraction of the cost of an attorney and other legal services.

I have a law degree (JD) and have many years of experience as a law clerk / Legal assistant and paralegal. I can pretty much prepare most legal documents for you. I have the legal knowledge and research ability to do the work correctly.
