WHAT WOULD YOU DO

Im a 27 yr old 1st time renter here in PHX ARIZONA.

My 2yr old daughter, my bf(her father)& I have been in this apt for a yr or so now. ANYWAY- something happened with the main gas line so our stove has not been working this whole month. our rent is $612.00 and our landlord wants 500.00 for this month…but i feel it should be lower since we have no stove top/oven. she bought us a plug in little burner but its not enough. and I kinda feel like i shouldnt complain since she lets us pay half on the 1st and half on the 15th…. im stuck and i hvae no clue what my rights are??help pleeeaseeeeeee!!
