Landlord refuses to pay for bed bug treatment!!!

By Joe D

Hi,

To make a long story short, My roomates and I are trying to get reinbursed for the bed bug treatment we paid for several months ago. This infestation begun in our landlords unit but we were never informed. We found them and called a terminator and paid. We have moved out since, but still would like to be reinbursed for the treatments. Is this a lost cause? I realize that we did not follow the correct protocal here, but shouldn’t we still be etitled to the money. Is there anything I can use as leverage to get our money. Maybe tellin them that I will report the case to the board of health? Pease advise! any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
