What a pain! We trusted realtors to pick tenants. They must not have done a background check. After 6 months one of them has been arrested twice for spouse abuse and once for drugs. Our property is in an upscale neighborhood and all our neighbors are mad at us. One of the tenants wrote to us saying he wanted out of the lease and that the partner has abanndoned our home. We talked to his partner who said she did not want to live there anymore either. Now some of her stuff is still in our house and she is calling us saying that she never wanted to move out.
