I have had 1 break in and 1 attempted break in within 2 weeks of each other. I no longer feel safe staying there. I have a nine year old daughter. My lease will end in May but wanted to get out before then. What can I do?

WE RENT FROM MY MOTHER IN LAW.SHE WON’T PUT IN NEW WINDOW UNITS AND IT IS HOT.SHE SAYS IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY,BUT WE PAY RENT…SO WHO IS LIABLE????

My manager tells me my water and sewer billing are handled by Velocity.  I am just trying to figure out for 2011 why my sewer rate flucuates month to month?  If I flush less, will it go down or what else is in included in my sewer usage?

my landlord is about to begin fixing a large mold problem ive discovered and it requires her to tear three rooms apart for a week or so. i have two other roommates who use these rooms. is she required to find us lodging of some sort while she fixes the house?
